OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES

 

1. No purchase necessary to enter or win.

2. CONTEST PERIOD – Contest begins on Monday January 27th, 2025 and concludes Sunday February 9th, 2025. (“Contest Period”).

3. ELIGIBILITY- The Bob’s Discount Furniture Update Your Home Contest is open to person who at the time of entry, must be 18 years of age or older and legal residents of, and physically located within the 50 United States and the District of Columbia. Void where prohibited. All applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Employees of Reno Media Group (alice965.com, swag1049.com, TenCountry.com, River1037.com, Sunny 1069.com, 961thezone.com, and thehogfm.com) (collectively, the “Sponsor”) and Bob’s Discount Furniture, LLC its affiliates, subsidiaries and advertising and promotional agencies, or of any company affiliated with the Contest and collectively with the foregoing persons or entities (collectively, “Contest Entities”), and the immediate family members (herein, defined as spouse, siblings, children and each of their respective spouses, regardless of residence, and any person living in such a person’s household, whether related or not) of each, are not eligible to participate..

4. HOW TO ENTER – Individuals may enter once per day, per station website during Contest Period.

5. PRIZE AND ITS APPROMIMATE RETAIL VALUE (“ARV”) – A $2,500 Bob’s Discount Furniture Gift Card (“Gift Card”) to be awarded by Sponsor. Usage of Gift Card is subject to the terms and conditions on the Gift Card and at www.mybobs.com/gift-card. Gift Card is awarded on an “as is” basis and cannot be redeemed for cash or used as payment for purchases of additional Gift Cards or as

an adjustment to prior purchase(s) or applied as payment on any account. Gift Cards will not be replaced if lost or stolen.

6. DRAWING AND WINNER NOTIFICATION – One (1) winner will be chosen by Sponsor by random drawing on Monday February 10th, 2025 and contacted by phone. The potential winner will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and a liability and publicity release (except where prohibited) (“Affidavit”) and W-9 Form within seven (7) days from the date of notification. Note that the potential winner must provide their Social Security Number to Sponsor/Bob’s Discount Furniture for the purposes of issuing a 1099 for the value of the prize. Prize forfeiture may result from any of the following: i.) an Affidavit, W-9 Form or a prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable; ii.) the Affidavit or W-9 Form is not returned within the date specified on notification; iii.) winner is otherwise found to be ineligible; iv.) winner cannot accept or receive the prize for any reason; and v.) any other non-compliance with these Official Rules.

7. LIMITATIONS ON LIABILITY – By entering this Contest, entrants agree to (i) be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor on all matters relating to the Contest, which are final and binding; and (ii) release and hold the Contest Entities and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives (collectively “Releasees”) harmless from any injury, loss or damage to person, including death, personal injury or loss or damage to property due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly to the acceptance or use/misuse of a prize, participation in any promotion-related activity or participation in the Contest. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between statements contained in any materials and the terms and conditions of these Official Rules, these Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control. Releasees are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, inaccurate, stolen, delayed, misdirected, undelivered or garbled entries, emails, or other communications of any kind; or for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider (“ISP”), website, or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure; or for jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties; or for other errors or difficulties of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, computer, network, typographical, printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with the Contest, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the Contest, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prizes or in any Contest-related materials. Releases are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest. Releasees are not responsible for injury or damage to entrants’ or any other person’s computer, or mobile or other device related to or resulting from participating in this Contest or downloading materials from or use of the related website. In the event Sponsor is prevented from continuing with this Contest (or any portion thereof), or the integrity and/or feasibility of the Contest as planned is undermined by any event including but not limited to fire, flood, epidemic, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, satellite or equipment failure, riot or civil disturbance, war (declared or undeclared), terrorist threat or activity, or any federal, state, or local government law, order, or regulation, order of any court or jurisdiction (each a “Force Majeure” event or occurrence), Sponsor shall have the right, in its sole discretion, to abbreviate, modify, suspend, cancel or terminate the Sweepstakes and, if terminated, award prize at issue from among all eligible entries received for such Contest(s) up to that date or as otherwise deemed fair and appropriate by Sponsor. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHALL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION FROM PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEST SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, RELEASEES RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEY FEES) TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION. Prize is nontransferable, and no substitutions or cash redemptions will be made, other than as provided herein. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize, in whole or in part, of comparable or greater value, for any reason. All disputes, claims and causes of action at law or in equity (individually, “Claim”) arising out of or relating to this Contest, the meaning or interpretation of the rules or any prize awarded shall be resolved by applying the laws of Nevada, without regard to conflict of laws

provisions therein, and shall be solely and exclusively brought in the state or federal courts within that state. All Claims shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action and all Claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event include attorneys’ fees, and under no circumstances will any entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, special, consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and waives all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased.

8. TAXES/RELEASE: The winner is liable for all local, state, and federal taxes, tips or other miscellaneous charges associated with the prize.

9. PUBLICITY GRANT – By accepting a prize, winner agrees, where imposing such condition is legal, that Sponsor and Bob’s Discount Furniture, LLC its designees shall have the right, but not the obligation, to the use of their name, city and state of residence, photograph. and/or likeness for advertising and publicity purposes in any and all media now or hereafter known throughout the world in perpetuity without further compensation, permission or notification and, upon request, will confirm consent to such use in writing.

10. MODIFICATION: Reno Media Group reserves the right to cancel a contest at any time. Any and all rule changes will be announced, and written copies will be made available at our offices as soon as possible. Copies of all rules are available during business hours at our offices. These rules may be altered/changed at any time at the discretion of the station.
