Starbucks Is Going Back to Misspelling Peoples’ Names on Their Cups

If you’re someone who thinks Starbucks has lost its cozy, welcoming, coffeehouse vibe, well, Starbucks would AGREE with you.

Starbucks is making some changes to turn back the clock and make the experience cool and fun again, and less corporate.

They’ll be going back to handwriting customers’ names on their cups with Sharpies . . . and probably MISSPELLING them on occasion, like the old days.

They’re also bringing back the milk and sugar stations, which were removed during the height of the pandemic.

They previously said they wanted people to hang out inside Starbucks again, so they were going to be more strict about booting people who were not paying customers.

To go along with that, they’re going to use ceramic cups inside the store again, and offer EVERYONE free refills on some “for here” orders.  Previously, that was a perk that was reserved for members of the loyalty program.
