Going to Coachella Ravages Your Body and Your Bank Account

Coachella starts today, and don’t be sad you’re stuck watching the livestream on YouTube.  Being there in person can ravage your body and your bank account.

A survey of 2,000 festival-goers found big events like Coachella are so physically taxing, 78% leave them feeling dehydrated and exhausted.

This weekend could be even worse, because it’s expected to be HOT.  The temperature at Coachella today could hit 103 DEGREES.  (!!!)

62% said they also don’t eat great at festivals and just rely on whatever they can grab fast, 49% end up regretting their food and DRINK choices, and 58% think festival food is overpriced.

Speaking of money:  Tickets for Coachella started at $599 this year.  (!!!)  That’s just for Weekend 2.  Passes for this weekend were $649, and they sold out.

And that just gets you in the door.  It doesn’t count things like parking, shuttle passes, flights, or accommodations.

According to “Billboard”, around 60% of people with general admission tickets used Coachella’s payment plan system this year.
