If this is an early indication of this year’s April Fools’ Day, things aren’t looking promising.
Two days ago, on March 18th, Lipton Ice Tea went on social dia and announced that their peach ice tea was being discontinued. It was a little random, since it seems like one of the core flavors, and they didn’t explain it.

They just said, “Maybe one day, Peach will make a legendary comeback. We appreciate your understanding during this period of adjustment and apologize for any inconvenience caused. #RIPeach.” (???)
One commenter said, “[Peach] is the only flavor people like. Why are you doing this??? Delete and pretend you were hacked.”
Then yesterday, Lipton made another post, revealing that it was all an April Fools’ Day gag and peach is “here to stay.” Yes, April Fools in mid-March.

Lipton laughed about the “freak-out” in the comments, saying, “The way we had people mad at us too!” And added the crying face emoji.
If you DON’T know what to say about this, you’re missing out.
Lipton said that they’re going to comb through everyone’s reactions to their early April Fools / fake announcement, and they’ll be, “sending a surprise to the biggest fans with the best reactions!”
(But seriously, what? All right, so if we don’t need to wait for April 1st to do April Fools’ Day jokes anymore)
