The Most Popular “Dream Job” in America Is Flight Attendant?

If you asked your seventh grader what their DREAM JOB would be, they probably won’t say, “electrophysiologist.”  They’d probably say YouTuber, or rapper, or Subway Sandwich Artist.

New research came up with a list of the top “dream jobs” worldwide.  They did it by looking into targeted online search results for stuff like “how to be a . . .”

In the end, the top “dream job” across the entire world was PILOT.  Which is interesting, because “flying the friendly skies” seems to get less sexy every year.

And the appeal apparently IS commercial flying, because the #1 dream job in America is:  Flight attendant.

Here’s the Top 20 worldwide:

1.  Pilot

2.  Attorney

3.  Police officer

4.  Pharmacist

5.  Nurse

6.  Physical therapist

7.  Midwife

8.  Prosecutor

9.  Actor

10.  Judge

11.  Doctor

12.  Professor

13.  YouTuber

14.  Dietician

15.  Psychologist

16.  Firefighter

17.  Flight attendant

18.  Real estate agent

19.  Psychiatrist

20.  Paramedic.

In Canada, Australia, and India, the #1 dream job is:  DJ.

In Mexico and virtually everywhere in Central and South America, it’s:  Attorney.

In England and Scotland, it’s:  YouTuber.

In Bulgaria, it’s:  Taxi driver.

(Back to your seventh grader, if they just want to be rich and help people, maybe their dream job SHOULD be electrophysiologist.  That’s one of the highest paid careers in the U.S.)
