Call this guy a moron. But it’s the most festive escape plan he could have hatched.
A man in southern Massachusetts tried to hide from the cops on Tuesday night, by jumping down someone’s CHIMNEY.
Officers showed up at his home with a warrant. So he and another guy tried to get away by hopping up on the roof.
The first guy jumped off onto a car, and ran away. But 33-year-old Robert Langlias started roof-hopping, saw the chimney, and decided it was a good hiding spot.
He got stuck halfway down and had to be rescued. There’s chest-cam footage of a cop finding him in the chimney and saying, “You’re an idiot.”
Firefighters had to break through the side of the chimney to get him out. He’s facing drug charges, and had a bunch of outstanding warrants.
