Does knowing what you’re getting for Christmas ruin the magic?
Someone polled people and asked what they’d prefer: Would you rather be surprised with a gift, or get something you specifically asked for?
In the age of gift cards and Amazon wish lists, this is a little unexpected: Just 26% said they’d rather ask for something and get it.
56% prefer being surprised, even if they might not like what they get.
The other 18% said they’re not sure, or they like both types of gifts equally.
