1. The original “Star Wars” trilogy is 377 minutes long, but Darth Vader only appears in 44 of those minutes, which is less than 10%. He’s only in 11 of the 121 minutes of the first movie, 14 of the 124 minutes of “The Empire Strikes Back”, and 18 of the 132 minutes of “Return of the Jedi”. Yoda was in even less, a total of 17 minutes and 55 seconds.
2. The reason there are usually mirrors next to elevators is to keep people distracted while they wait.
3. “Friends” went through three other titles first: “Insomnia Cafe”, “Six of One”, and “Friends Like Us”.
4. A guy named Philip Noel-Baker from England is the only person who’s ever won an Olympic medal and received a Nobel Prize. He won a silver as a runner in the 1500 meters at the 1920 Olympics, then went into politics and won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1959.
5. Wonder why Owen Wilson is in basically every Wes Anderson movie? They were roommates at the University of Texas in the early ’90s.
