What’s your favorite thing about Halloween? If you said the costumes, you’re completely out of touch. A new poll just in time for Halloween found that dressing up is NOT our favorite thing about it. We really just want that sweet, sweet chocolate.
Eating candy is the #1 thing we love about Halloween. Here’s how America voted . . .
1. Eating candy. 20% say it’s their favorite thing about Halloween.
2. Dressing up, 14%
3. Trick-or-treating, 14%
4. The decorations, 13%
5. The parties, 12%
6. Haunted houses, 9%. That’s way up from a few years ago when just 4% said it was their favorite thing.
7. Carving pumpkins, 5%
The remaining 13% said something else. So, things like haunted hayrides and scary movies.
(Speaking of scary movies, someone asked Reddit: For $1 million, would you be locked inside a store overnight with Michael Myers? And if so, how would you survive? Best answer: Just don’t slip and fall while running away, like everyone in those movies. This other question is fun too.)
