A Zamboni driver in Quebec, Canada has been arrested on suspicion of DUI, after a low-speed crash at a hockey rink on Monday.
The male driver was 25 years old, and he was supposed to be cleaning the ice between two games. It’s unclear what happened, but he must have zonked out or something because he just drove the Zamboni straight into the boards.
Witnesses called police, who came and administered a sobriety test. He apparently failed, because he was arrested and booked.
Nobody was hurt, but a door onto the rink was damaged.
